This one year course is designed to introduce the student to educational and career opportunities in the Ornamental Horticulture and Landscaping, with career options including Ag biologist, botanist, horticulturist, landscape designer, nursery worker, etc. Course content includes plant identification and propagation, greenhouse management and nursery production, plant physiology, landscape principles and maintenance, soil and pest management, etc. Worksite learning experiences and FFA participation will be integrated throughout the course.
