This course will provide students with theories and principles related to environmental horticulture science, with an emphasis to plant biological principles and scientific methods as related to modern agricultural practices. Course content includes environmental ecology, plant reproduction, plant physiology, and related agricultural practices as landscape design, nursery/agricultural production, and emerging technologies. It is intended to successfully prepare those students who plan on majoring in agricultural sciences at a four-year college and or university. The course does meet UC "a-g" admission requirements (g; college preparatory elective).
