The Automotive Engine Technology course is intended to give knowledge and hands-on experience for the student who is interested in an automotive career. The course is organized around the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. Areas that are covered are safety, hazardous waste, tools, measuring, informational systems, engine design, electrical theory, charing,starting, ignition, fuel delivery systems, computer and on-board diagnostics, and job seeking skills.
