Students in the second year of Fire Fighting Technology will prepare for additional certifications. Wildland S110, S130, S190 certifications will be the focus along with FEMA’s Incident Command Systems 100, 200 and 700. A major component for second year students will be in the leadership area by taking command of classroom fire fighting divisions while concepts of skills from Fire Fighting Technology will be reinforced.
